The Les Voisins du Zero is an odd bet, that requires 9 chips, and is only valid on a French or European Roulette table layout, as it will not work with 00. Tell the dealer you want a "Les Voisins du Zero" and he will place your chips on the board in relation to the clockwise order of the numbers on the roulette wheel, on each side of the zero.
This is a bet on 17 numbers with 9 chips, all of them splits: 22,18,29,7,28,12,35,3,26,0,32,15,19,4,21,2,25. The exception is the intersection of the 0,2 and 3, which gets two chips, since it pays less.
The idea behind the Les Voisins du Zero roulette bet is that the player believes the ball will be dropped near the "0" and will land somewhere near it. It is a very popular online roulette bet.
