Mike Ashley Won 1.3 million Pounds on the Roulette Wheel
On May 3rd, 2008, the billionaire team owner of Newcastle United has won a total of 1.3 million pounds on a roulette game. Mike Ashley collected the jackpot after wagering more than 480,000 pounds on his chosen number-the black seventeen. The adventurous retail magnate put down wagers on every combination that includes the number seventeen-like the roulette wheel stopping on the black, an odd number or a number between one and eighteen.
