On July 24th, 2008, AIM-listed NetPlay Television PLc debut its Live Roulette interactive game show this week, utilizing the free digital satellite television service debut in May 2008 to reach millions of interactive television gaming viewers. It will be shown on Channel 851, a channel allocated for Live Roulette, twenty four hours a day, 7 days a week. The channel will be shown live on the Freesat platform this week.
Live Roulette is a live, interactive television gaming roulette show where patrons can view the show on television and place wagers by logging on Live Roulette.com or calling 0871. Freesat is a joint collaboration between BBC and ITV and reaches around ninety-eight percent of British households with the help of eighty free digital channels-television, radio, interactive and high definition services. The service requires no subscription and no contract.
Customers will only be required a one month payment for equipment. Freesat's channel line-up will grow bigger each month, with up to two hundred channels showing by the end of the year. The Chairman and Chief Executive of NetPlay Television PLC, Martin Higginson said that they are proud and happy with the debut of Live Roulette on Freesat.
This is another big step for NetPlay Television to improve their player base and reach more patrons. They are optimistic about the future of their collaboration with Freesat.
