NetPlay Strengthens Live Gaming Position by Buying Pitch Gaming Player Data Base

On May 27th, 2008, British interactive gaming organization NetPlay Television publicly announced their buyout of the whole player gaming database of Pitch Entertainment Limited for a total of $247,026 to improve its player database by more than 3,500 duly registered players.

The agreement was finalized by NetPlay Television Services Limited, a subsidiary of the Lancaster-based organization and will automatically connect players logging in at PitchGaming.com to the LiveRoulette.com of NetPlay for the following 6 months. The buy-out deal follows NetPlay TV's recent buyout of the Sky Channel 848 from former owner Pitch Roulette. The company plans to use the channel to serve as a launch pad for its brand new blackjack service.

The company stated that it has conceptualized this brand new online and television gambling concept to match its interactive roulette offering on Sky Channel 847. The Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of NetPlay Television Martin Higginson commented that with the buy-out of the player database, they are hoping that it will improved their standing in the industry and can help them reach their goal to offer players high-class interactive gaming.

Higginson said that the buyout is a significant development to their plans to offer good gaming in television, World Wide Web and even cellular phone gaming. He added that with the growing casino gaming industry, they want to position themselves in the right direction.
