The Rapid Roulette Debut at Four Casinos Owned By Harrah's

A new variation of the classic game of roulette called Rapid Roulette was launched on June 15th, 2008 in Atlantic City, New Jersey at four casino establishments owned by Harrah's Entertainment. The rules that are used in the game are the same that are used in the normal variation of roulette but it has been upgraded with a computerized betting system which significantly changes the game pace of the game.

Paul Natello, the director of the casino table games operations for Caesars that it has already been four years since the successful introduction of Rapid Roulette in Las Vegas. He said that most of their players feel that they are just playing the game with the use of their computers. Rapid Roulette utilizes two roulette croupiers with the same amount of dealers to managed two roulette gambling tables that can accommodate 6 players.

As the roulette dealers are not tasked to gather the chips from the losers in the game and gave the bets to the winners because the computer handles it. It also has a faster game pace compared with the usual game of roulette. One good point of this game is that players do not have to gather the chips themselves. The gambling supervisors and the dealers will not be burdened as the supervisor will be able to record the bets of the gamblers.

Due to the quicker game pace, the casino establishment will benefit because each game will earn more profit. The game also rewards players by touching a certain area on the screen and giving away some money at the end of each game.
